About Karen

Born and raised in New York, I haven’t lost my New York sensibility – or my accent! In 1988, I decided to sell my condo, buy a motor home and travel across the country. I landed in San Francisco in 1989 just before the October ’89 quake and my first ‘home’ in San Francisco was the RV Park on King Street, now known as AT&T Park.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston and a Master’s from C.W. Post College on Long Island, as well as 20 years of experience as a Vice President in the DIrect Marketing industry in New York and then Novato, who knew that these experiences would prove so valuable as I decided to pursue a career in real estate.
I have been a realtor and Top Producer with Coldwell Banker since 2003. I have sold condos, co-ops, single family homes, multi-unit buildings and investment property in San Francisco and the East Bay. My clients consider me trustworthy, hard working, dependable and approachable. They know I am always willing to get involved at any level of the transaction. My sellers know I’m happy to coordinate staging, painting, repairs, inspections and whatever it takes to get the best price and the best terms; my buyers know that I will guide them in making their best offer, negotiate on their behalf and develop a rapport with the listing agent with their best interest in mind.
My client base is diverse and I enjoy and appreciate working with first time and experienced buyers and sellers, as well as those relocating to the Bay area.
To keep me grounded, I work out every morning. I spend a lot of my free time playing and teaching mah jongg, volunteering at Dress for Success, seeing movies, enjoying San Francisco’s fabulous dining scene and doing the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle – in ink!
My clients are my priority. I am honest and open and have a high level of integrity that offers me a solid and respectable reputation throughout the realtor community. Many of my clients have become close friends. I look forward to working with and getting to know you.
